LA FONDATION ŒUVRE DE LA CROIX SAINT SIMON

Created in 1906 and recognized as a public utility since 1922, the Fondation Œuvre de la Croix Saint-Simon meets the health and medico-social needs of vulnerable people, from birth to the end of life.

A secular foundation, it works for people made vulnerable by age, precariousness and illness and accompanies the family from birth to the end of life.It takes its name from the location of its former historic headquarters located on rue de la Croix Saint-Simon in Paris in the 20th arrondissement.

It supports nearly 100,000 users, patients and families per year, within its 50 health and medico-social structures and its Institute of Paramedical and Social Training (IFPS).

It offers a global, complementary and diversified range of services because it is concerned with meeting the needs of young and old alike in accordance with the principles of well-treatment and secularism, and offers reception, accompaniment, support, care or medical or medico-social support:

  • Health

    • An ESPIC composed of a multipurpose Home Hospitalization Service (HAD), 3rd in France, operating in the Île-de-France, the management of the National Center for Palliative and End-of-Life Care (CNSPFV), extended by decree on January 28, 2022, for a period of five years and two Medical and Dental Health Centers (CSMD).

  • The Elderly – Disabled People Unit

    • A Residential Establishment for Dependent Elderly People (EHPAD), four Day Care Centres (CAJ), two Home Nursing Care Services (SSIAD), a Medico-Social Support Service for Disabled Adults (SAMSAH) and a Respite Platform for Caregivers (PFR), the pivotal referent for the PFRs of Île-de-France.

  • The Early Childhood Centre

    • Three Maternal and Infant Protection (PMI) centres, a Relay of Parental Auxiliaries (RAP), a specific day care centre at La Villa Vauvenargues dedicated to parenthood and the care of young mothers, in conjunction with local hospital and social partners, and thirty-two childcare facilities for young children in Paris.

  • Training and Research Department

    • A Paramedical and Social Training Institute (IFPS) preparing for diplomas in nursing, nursing assistants, childcare auxiliaries and educational and social assistance (450 students), a Nursing Training Institute (IFSI), a Training Institute for Childcare Auxiliaries (IFAP), a Childcare Nurse Training Institute (IFIP), a Social Work Training Institute (ETS), a continuing education department and a research department in connection with three universities (Paris XI, Paris Centre and Paris VIII).
